MDI & TDI / PRICE ANNOUNCEMENT
BASF announces a regional USD 250/t increase
On 11 September, BASF announced a USD 250 per metric ton increase for its Lupranate MDI basic products and TDI in ASEAN and South Asia, effective immediately or as contracts permit. BASF cited raw-material, transport and energy costs.

Potential MDI production investment in India
On 21 September, BASF said it was evaluating an MDI complex in Dahej, Gujarat, and had secured land. The final investment decision remains subject to the feasibility study and necessary approvals.
